  17. <p>    Meet Georgie Anne Geyer, A feisty foreign correspondent
  18. who has turned her tape recorder on Khomeinis, Gaddafis and
  19. kings. She's smart and sophisticated, tough and tenacious. She
  20. would make a great character on a hip TV show. Now meet Georgie
  21. Anne Lahti, the wily ex-journalist played by MARKIE POST on the
  22. new CBS sitcom Hearts Afire. Both Georgie Annes are hard
  23. driven, both live in D.C., and both penned books about Fidel
  24. Castro. Coincidence? That's what Hearts creator Linda
  25. Bloodworth-Thomason claims. But the real-life reporter doesn't
  26. buy it. "I'm not pleased. It's an appropriation of my persona,"
  27. says Geyer, 57, who has fired off a letter to the show's
  28. producers via her attorney. According to Bloodworth-Thomason,
  29. the breezy TV Georgie is instead loosely based on brassy Italian
  30. journalist Oriana Fallaci.
